Art House Virtual Summer Camps!

This summer Art House Astoria is pleased to offer two different virtual camp experiences to give your family extra flexibility with both time and budget.

Once Upon A Show (Ages 8 – 13)

Create your own original musical by the end of this 5-week course. Recorded episodes are shared weekly where students will learn concepts related to storytelling, stagecraft, set design, costumes, puppetry, and songwriting in this self-paced course.

Campers will receive a weekly video episode to watch and work on their project as much as they want to in a given week. At the end of the 5 weeks, there will be a Zoom event (time TBD) to share their work with their instructors, fellow campers, and families. The first session launched virtually on July 6; the second session will launch on July 27. Enrollment will open soon.

Prior to the start of the course, you will receive a Creator’s Kit filled with things to jumpstart your imagination and send you on a creative path of discovery in your own home.

Receive personal feedback from each of our instructors once weekly.

This class is closed to new enrollment for the summer, but please email with any questions on future sessions.

Classes are taught from 10 am – 2 pm every weekday. In addition to the live classes, students will also receive a free daily download of a movement class taught by one of our dance instructors to help them get their bodies moving before a long day of creativity.
