New Music Horizons: Collaborative Artists in Concert Series

Collaborative Artists in Concert Series presented by New Music Horizons and Art House Astoria.

This concert, the first of the Collaborative Artists in Concert Series to be performed in Queens, will feature the work of two composers: classical pianist David Shenton and jazz bassist Mark Wade. The program will include a pre-concert talk by the composers about the music that their ensembles will perform; a performance of the music; and an informal post-concert audience Q&A session where people can talk with the artists about what they heard and experienced. Audience members will have the unique opportunity to learn about the music directly from the artist. General Admission tickets will be $10 at the door. Art House students will be $5.00. Please RSVP to or at the desk.

This project was made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regent program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Queens Council on the Arts.
