1010Summer2016WorkshopThemesJULY 18TH-22ND – VIDEO GAME

In the Video Game afternoon workshop taught by our friends at Eli Draws, students will work together to explore the elements that come together to create a video game: characters, art, sound, story, conflict, strategy, and resolution. Students will determine goals, objectives, and obstacles to create a “living” video game that the parents can “play” at the Friday afternoon showcase.

The afternoon workshop for the Art House Retro Summer Camp, will involve staging and performing songs, poems, and skits from the classic 1970s TV special Free to Be, You and Me as students explore the fun and color of Pop Art, poetry writing, and pop music of the 60s and 70s.
