It’s time to get ready for caroling! It’s all about fun, family, and community — no experience necessary. You just have to be willing to wander around singing to strangers in our local Astoria neighborhoods.
We rehearse a little bit so those who want to try out some harmony can do so, but it’s not required to go on the walks.
NEW INFO: We ARE going to carol at the Broom Tree Artisan’s Market at 27-20 Ditmars Blvd on Saturday, 12/12 at 5:00PM. Please plan to arrive around 4:45 to hand out songbooks and instruments. We’ll do one or two sets from 5 to 5:45/6:00PM, so if you cant get there right at 5:00, it’s OK.
Walks are currently planned for
Saturday 12/19. Meet at Art House at 4:30. We’ll go out along Broadway and maybe over to Steinway.
Monday 12/21. Meet at the Bareburger on 31st St at 23 Ave, and we then head up tp the DItmars/31st area.
That’s it! Join the event to keep up on info. It will be updated after each segment of the whole project. You don’t have to commit to everything, just come have some fun!
